Blackberries, raspberries, black cherries, cinnamon, wild flowers, mixed herbs, a little black tea and tobacco leaf, and pencil lead. Hint of black pepper on the finish. Medium bodied but plush while still being fresh. Great bang for the buck.

Nice cab franc. Light, but still complex after opening up a bit.

Whoa! They put it in a burgundy for good reason. Grand Cru drinking on a budget

Super sunday lunch wine. Very easy yet complex. Not unfriendly like Bougueu can be!

Classy wine. Almost too classy. None of that cab franc rusticity or funk here. Instead it's deep in color, inky red/black, with sweet, primary, glossy berry fruit that's almost pinot like but cranked up in intensity, suave and seamless with no hard edges.
