Sublime & resolved yet still with years to go. But its succulence suggests it's best in the next 10 years rather than beyond. Acidity just a touch light to help it evolve longer to benefit.

Wonderful Richebourg, even though can’t compare to DRC , but great value. Needed about few more years .

The nose started with intense barnyard with a hint of funk which settled down after a while. Balance was perfect and the wine blossomed with a nice steak. Loads of red fruit with strawberries and tart cherries showing particularly well. Finish was superb, lingering on with some minerality present. 1985 vintage enjoyed celebrating DF's birthday.

Great 2011, more like a Californian Pinot than a traditional Burgundy. Impressive tough not as good as the 2012.
