Jul 18th, 20182006 Domaine du Comte Liger Belair burgundy. Brought this for K's surprise dinner at Mel. Amazing! Decanted at resto for a good hour and glad we did. Big, but balanced. Not punchy or sharp in any way. Absolutely loved it. Such a treat.

Beautiful wine that had nice strawberry and cherry notes with some earthier smoke- like noses. Interesting. Great to sip and drink with lighter dishes and before the 1999 Soldera. Really enjoyed this wine all around!
