Pretty tightly wound on the nose with some raspberry and distant spice and oak. On the softer, more refined side of Pinot Noir but the core has a density that eludes to some longevity with a real balance of acid and tannins that match the perfumed sweet red fruit. Very pleasant to drink now but give it 3-5 more years and we should have ourselves a wine with all of the goods, and drive the average score up a point or two!
