Owned by Champagne producer so hopes are high for my first Meursault, a white for the red palate I am told (thanks Mau) and my 100% red plate loved it!
Super smooth, creamy but powerful, there is great balance of fruit, acidity and minerality, soft apple, nuts, orange skin towards the rear palate.
The finish is full of feel and fruit and very long. Tasted while cooking Thai green curry and can get citrus zest pairing nicely with food prep.
