This CDP was purchased on a whim but boy did it deliver! Dark cocoa with notes of black cherry, cayenne pepper and well-integrated tannins only became more pronounced as we let the bottle breath and open to expose its bouquet. All in all, a wonderful bottle that earned itself at least 6 racks in my new cellar.

Classic NdP notes with a touch of lightness, finesse even. Agree with others with need to breathe it as it was very tight, but opened up nicely during the course of a nice, slow meal.

Big favors of bacon, and au jus sauce. Huge body, still possessed a smooth mouth feel. Great with steak.
