Lovely. Dense dark fruit. Richness like poached egg yolk, blackberry, fennel, herbal, all kinds of wonderful stuff. Needs time. Good balance. Big fan.

Clear, dark red with purple hues, low viscosity; quite fruity on the nose with unmistakable syrah notes of pepper, spice, and fleshy leather; robust, tannic and relatively high alcohol (close to 14?) on the palate, and with a balanced rich midpalate and finish. Had with dried Pata Negra tenderloin, Kaltbach cheese, and Symphonic Dances by Rachmaninov. A great afternoon!

Espresso, dried game, cherry and pie fruits. Green opening to black pepper. Red and blue fruits expand on the palate. On the feminine end of Cornas but still super solid.

A very nice Cornas, no doubt. Very expressive nose, with a lot of black pepper, olive, and dark fruit. Decanted for 2 hours. Lots of black fruit on the palate, but a smidge less complex and full than I expected. Medium finish, medium acid. Excellent pairing with some great lamb chops with middle eastern spices.
