Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc

Not my fave. Only ok

Treats from France, gorgeously complex, rich, all balanced by chalky minerality and acidic cut. Just ever so slightly honeyed with gorgeous melange of ripe citrus, stone, orchard fruits and blossoms. Glad to see this how well this traveled.

Gotta love a bit of pouilly!

Definite fumé to this pouilly, incredible stuff. Ripe but restrained, absolutely spot on. Proper wine.
