Sold to me as an American Vouvray. Not so. Much more on the mineral side of the spectrum. Barely any fruit. Salty, a little bitter. Good acid structure.

Surprisingly fruity on both the nose and taste for a chenin blanc. Smells of honey and flowers, maybe lychees. Light acid with a bit of honey sweetness. Really nice with chicken Marsala. UPDATE: Tried it again 1 day later and it changed quite a bit. Tasted less of honey and more of tart apples and lemons. Also, the acid was less that left it a bit flabby. Definitely better the first day.
