California Cabernet Sauvignon

Happy Wine Wednesday! Okay, I'll admit, picked this one up for the bottle. It was calling me from the shelf. Nice, aromatic, fruit forward on the nose cab with a kick of spice at first sip. It's good. I wouldn't say it's great. But it's good. Chewy tannins. Cherries, cinnamon, and and clove. Not bad. Might be better with food.

Cab: not worth $20, but still pretty good. Not very bold but was nice and smooth. Could use some depth.

Far too fruity for me. Light and clean, but not my style.

Very nice drinking wine for a party

Very watery and plain. Unfortunately I did not enjoy this wine. It looks like they spent more money on the label and not on the wine.
