The green pyrazine character has really faded and integrated with time - it’s still there, especially on the nose, but in a nice way and the candied red fruit has emerged. Tannins fully resolved and showing great with a pan seared filet mignon; it finishes long, full and balanced. Glad I waited might have hit the peak!

One of the first case purchases I made when I started collecting right out of college. Turned out to be a killer value at $10-12/bottle. Highly pyrazinic but balanced with just enough fruit.

Un peu plus vert que d’autres Cousino bu, bon on s’entend, rien pour écrire à ma mere. Quand meme bien adouci à ce stade d’évolution, pour un mardi ca fait le travail. C’est un petit test que je faisais avec Cousino.
