"Tous Ensemble" Mendocino County Syrah

Purity, focus, elegance and power. The Tous Ensemble line really offers superb value and some of the most balanced wines Copain has to offer. The Mendocino Syrah is a serious wine with floral and savory elements and lovely fruit. Lavender, licorice, black pepper, mint and chocolate. Firm structure and long, sinewy tannins. Truly a gem at $20.

Ripe red and black fruit aromas with prominent but soft tannins. Lasting finish with herbal overtones. Tremendous value at the price.

Serviceable, but pretty boring. Black and blue fruit with some floral element, but over-oaked.

Great , rich, fruity, complex but smooth.

Great find. Tough to find a good Syrah because of what is usually a limited selection in local stores. Took a chance on this one because I like the Mendocino County region wines. Rewarded with a great Syrah I will be purchasing again.

Way better than the 2014.

Acceptable at retail. Shame on you #mercantilesocial for a 267% mark up.

Good but not big. Would still drink more. 2/18.
