Beautiful blueberry and cherry fruit, very compelling front with fruit and booze, but most of the tannins sadly didn't stick around. Since I'm drinking as a cocktail wine for Mad Men finale, it works just fine.

A vibrant ruby-red, the '06 Copain Syrah 'James Berry Vineyard' offers intense aromas of red and dark berries, licorice and truffles. A refreshing minerality leads to a velvety textured finish. A very rich and satisfying wine.
