Reddish tawny and opaque. A food wine kind of nose. Dark fruit, wood and spice. A good wine to go with the Italian fare this evening.

Dark scarlet. Barely translucent. Nice nose with notes of smoky fruit, cassis, hickory, and a little dark chocolate. Round in the mouth, the tannins are nicely integrated. Fruit is a bit faded. Good wine with rich Italian food.

This is one of the handful of really pretty Brunello producers. This is still on the young side tho not primary. Plenty of life, elegant , wish I had a lot more of this.
