Another aged gem found in the Ozarks. This one was at 7 years old. In excellent shape showing varietal character and refined tannins.

Fantastic Carmenere! Went well with the Chorizo Empenadas I was having.

I expected better taste of such widelly advertised wine, but it smells awful (like acetone) and tastes less than average - even after leaving it to breathe air for avail. Last time when I tried this brand (except it wasn't reserve, but regular wine) it tasted much better.

Ruby red in colour. Blackcurrent aroma, a hint of vanilla and dark chocolate. Low acidity. Not too impressed. A basic cab sav.
