Spectacular, wonderful, awesome Brunello. Truly great. Rich, spicy and complex. Dark fruit abounds - plum skins and blueberry with cinnamon and nutmeg notes. Some dark currants and great earth notes. Top 10 wine. Brought this one back from Tuscany.

15% booze, about $55, sample. A bit hot, a bit thin, and a bit outside. Still pretty solid, though.

Oct 12th, 2014Very nice Brunello; tasted this one at the vineyard in Tuscany and loved it. Could use more bottle age and definitely needs some time to open, but this is a great wine. Good fruit and nice nose, good mouth feel, nice notes of dark berries, spices, and earth. Drinks well with strong, spicy food. Very nice!
