Evokes an 80's Mike Tyson, powerful, primary, possibly destined for greatness but creating a fear that unnerves. Appropriately, it socks the nose, cloves, kirsch, leather. Assaults the palate, huge extraction that manages to float, coffee, dark chocolate. Compote left out for a day. Would love to taste this next to any SQN Grenache of similar age...Group was confounded but, like 80s Iron Mike, agreed that it's destined for fame or despair, but will always be interesting.
