Fizzy and acidic, I’m assuming caused by unintended bottle fermentation. Imagine a Coca-Cola without the sugar. I’m guessing this is either a problem with just my bottle or this vintage based on the glowing reviews for other vintages. $22 literally down the drain.

Needs very vigorous pouring to blow off; day three still found a fizzy texture before I would shake it up by pouring over and over. Does that make sense? Very deep and dark once it opens up, however. Walnut and peanut skin, tannic like biting the shell of a walnut, overripe black fruit and skin. Brooding, weird af, probably needs heavy fatty foods to really work its majick. Hint of brett, grain cereals on the finish.
