But I agree with another reviewer, it is a very fragile wine at least for 09, don't decant it. Enjoy it from the bottle.

Olive tapenade, mint. Very open for a young Côte Rotie. This definitely pleases a traditional palate like mine (even though it is aged in up to 33% new 550l demi-muid).

Nov 8th, 2016Aromatics leap out of the glass here. I made the mistake of decanting it, which knocked out the layers and left you with undefined flavors and some muddled vanilla & brown sugar. It was far from bad but it made me regret the decision.
