Sweet notes of honey, apple and we stone minerality and some oxidative hints on nose; fresh but full bodied, flavours of apricot, honey, cooked apples, vanilla, walnuts and some bready savoury tones. Long delicious finish.

Needs time, but when patient it represents Chenin in optima forma. Topical fruits, layered, well balanced. Rich yet refreshing.

This is a stylish wine. It took a day to open up. Little bit of age (2010). Beeswax honey and ripe golden apple (ie not crisp and green), quince and melon. Brilliant with SE Asian inspired food - eg soy sauce green chilli, ginger and garlic. Not an apero wine - prefers complex flavours.
