This was the first of 4 reds we had for our main course last night. A Wine without a fuss from the Wine Society bought in 2013. Full bodied, medium tannins, very fruity great with beef wellington 😁

The nose reminded me of chimney smoke and melted butter. On the pallet ripe blackberries and a hint of mango chutney that I thought was nice.
