Grand Cru Classe de Graves Pessac Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend

Third red in flight two for the Bordeaux Master's Class at Heart's Delight with all wines from Pessac-Léognan.

Deep garnet with bricking on the edges. Aged nose with damp leaves, dried red cherries, and some earthiness. Medium and well integrated tannins (6/10) with a medium body. A touch savory on the palate with red berries too. Long finish. Drink till 2028.

Merlot provides roundness on the palate. Good wine from a good year.

Still tight and feels a little unbalanced. Both fruity more than desired earth and a bit acidic. Needs to breathe. Will see in an hour or so.

Medium and smooth.
