Cru Bourgeois Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

A great combo of riper cassis and currant-y fruit and roasted chestnut and mocha. Rich palate that shows some underbrush and tobacco leaf along with velvety tannin. A real surprise.

Scent of raspberry sweet tart and fig. Robust tannin profile with smooth astringency. Absolutely love this moody Medoc!

Very dry and astringent. Would be nice with food. Not my taste by the glass.

Very bitter, but not in a good way.

Amazing. Perfect paired with beef bourignon. Sweet vanilla flavors.

Bit flat and thin

Disappointed. Was old enough (2008) but didn't open up and still had a lot of tannin in the mouth.

Big nasty nose, classic in its full, round mouthful of red fruit and spice finishing lazily long and lasting. Great bang for one's buck...
