Needed a little time to open up but quite nice. I have several Cahors Malbecs at home. But Enjoying now here in Sarlat because the local distributors say exporting to the US 'c'est pas la prone ', not worth it.

Monday got me like... I need wine😛French Malbec... Definitely different from the Mendoza region Malbec(s) I'm used to... With a long decant... This is full of fruit flavor and smooth👍🏻

I had the first glass of a new bottle and was immediately hit with the leather, tobacco, earth, and fair bit of alc. Very complex, as this wine almost did a 180 in my glass over the course of 45 minutes. Leather had given way to subtle and mildly fleshy fruit. Tres Bon!
