Corked, unfortunately. But could still sense the good structure, and classic (but big) style, fine minerality and reasonable balance for the '03 heat wave.

Intense bouquet violets, blackberries, black currant, cedar, deep garnet color, med-full bodied silky tannins, cedar and spice notes on the finish, noticed pleasant smokiness after a few minutes, round.
