Ruby red, this estate wine has all the potential, but falls short! A clear, dry to medium wine, it has a medium body with fruity notes of dark strawberries and a hint of chocolate. This wine needs to "breathe" -- hence, you should open this wine and decant it. Give it at least 30 minutes to "breathe" -- it is a bit harsh before that. This is an easy to drink wine -- not very complex. It will go well with Tandoori paneer, Tandoori chicken and even mutton. Chateau D'Ori had started a winery with good intentions of making estate wines in French style. I do hope to see the revival of this winery, with some more wines!
