Margaux Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot Blend

How to possibly rate this wine? At 93 years old I thought it would be oxidized and dead, but no, there's life in the bottle still! It started with pretty muted dried fruit and loads of earthy pencil shavings and opened to a soft plumminess that was delicate and lovely. The acid was still kicking and while the tannins have faded into memory, the body was still round. This was education in a bottle:)
