Not bad not good. It's just kind of boring and not what I expect from a northern Rhone French wine.
Very dark purple and inky. Little to no mudding. Heavy jam and fruit forward and Slight leather. It's a straight forward wine but I think I'll skip it next time. Well at lest this vintage.

Pop and pour. Very dark, initial aromas of red fruit that evolved into more standard pepper. Standard Crozes Hermitage pepper flavor, didn't notice secondary flavors. Very solid, a classic example of the type.

Herbal/ vegetal, cherries and olive bribe on the nose. Tapenade, leather, pepper and black fruit on the pallet. Firm but pleasant tannins and medium plus acidity. Poor mans rotie!
