Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend

Resinous (he says rosemary) with a fruit character that is ripe not overripe. Concentrated and young but pretty delish

At first this reminded me of some of the older zins I’d been drinking as the ripe grenache was evident even with the more secondary characteristics. However, with more air, the fruit was tempered and a more savory side came to the fore. I’d say it’s time to drink up.

Earthy, touch of oak not quite integrated, but a solid showing
