50% CabS, 46% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot. Black fruits, earth, spices. Med(+) tannins, med(+) acidity. Very young to drink. Good potential for cellaring. Classy St Estephe style. 25 yrs old vines. Aged in 12-18 mo in wood (40% new, 40% 1-yr old, 20% 2-yr old casks) & racked every 3 months. Wine undergoes absolutely no filtration. Château de Pez estate (38 ha) holds 'Cru Bourgeois' since 1932. It came under ownership of Louis Roederer in 1995. Produces up to 150K bottles a year. Rating 3,6/5
