Dark near black purple. Black plum and a hint of graphite on the inviting nose. Confirmed on the lush full palate adding cocoa and red apple. Medium acidity asserts with that appley note. Lengthy finish is introduced by the velvety (medium) mid palate tannins, and continues the palate with a touch more cocoa. This is an excellent example of the original Malbec which can hold its own in the company of similarly priced Bordeaux. Take it to the same places, but lamb or cassoulet are naturals. Drink now through 2028.
