We usually enjoy Argentinian malbecs, so we wanted to try a French version. Some earthiness on the nose, and every bit the 14.5% alcohol content. Lusty and fruity, with a hint of a chocolate liquor...a pure chocolate, not Kahlua, and also the familiar and expected cigar box. Grippy tannins and elegant. Does this go with tonight's pizza? Delicious fruity dark berries and chocolate with soft mild tannins. Beautiful rich ruby red color. Where can we buy this in the states? We paid $31 Euros in France but can’t take enough of it home. — 7 years ago
