Nose of honey, pear/apple, and funk (in a good way)/earth and herb. Somewhat similar to an Alsatian Riesling or a Sauternes. However the sweet smelling nose is contrasted by a rich acidity and minerality. Not a lean wine, has quite a heavy mouthfeel and a pronounced nuttiness.

On the nose, beeswax and hazelnuts. In the mouth, lemon zest, piercing acidity, clean minerality. Oddly mouthfilling, slightly tannic and astringent. Interesting. Probably could use 10 more years to develop secondary characteristics.
