The nose is quite merlot forward. Little bitter on first sip. Light bodied. Tastes like a merlot but the finish is a cab sauv flavor. Smooth on the end. Not has tannin forward as I was expecting. Aerating it more opened up the flavors more. Little bit of oak to it.
