Coudoulet de Beaucastel Côtes du Rhône Red Rhône Blend

Controversial in how it was flawed, but not that it was flawed...

Definitely a food wine. Sweet on the finish but disappears with the food and evolves throughout the meal.

This definitely shows some Beaucastel “funk” (Brett) up front, palate shows bright redfruits but also maturity, medium-long finish, the most mature of these 3 CdRs!

Still hangin' on. Dust, white pepper, inky dark fruit. Soy sauce side is appearing, but not too shabby for old CdR.

Redfruits and mineral undertones, perfectly mature, enticing depth of flavors for an older CdR, medium-long finish, very good.

red- brown transparant wine. Ripe plum and some cherry. Elegant, fine wine.

As much as I love the Rhone, this stuff just never seems to do it for me.

Ready for business. Great mature plum fruit. Great food wine. I think near my peak for my taste.
