A decant and a large glass are needed for this fella as there is way to much pronounced Brett when you have this out of an ISO glass, munch better in a bigger bowl. Smoky, leather horseyness but bags of red berry fruit. Great acidity from the off with a smoky intensity

1996 Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf-du-Pape - Silky texture with flavors of dried red pepper, strawberries and tea with great acidity and freshness. Drink now it's gorgeous.

If there's a better Thanksgiving wine, please bring it to my house next year. Rich and earthy and multi-layered and endless.

Funk and leather on the nose. Very well balanced with fruit, earth and herbs covering the palate. Great finish. Perfect time to drink the 96

21 year old. Location not working...Pacific Beach for a week. Always scary opening a wine this old but turned out surprisingly well.
