Meat juice, pencil lead, black currant, menthol, cedar. The palate is well balanced but rather thinner than what I expected. Very strong acid backbone, bright black currant all along, very strong grip, dusty tannins that open a finale with black currant, coffee and meat juice. Some bitterness in the end makes for a very nice, rather complex finish. It lacks a bit of depth and width but it's well done and already enjoyable. Given the dusty texture of the tannins I wouldn't wait much longer to pop up and pour!

Really love this. Front middle and back palate all very balanced. Great for a social sip and with a thick cut of steak or roast leg of lamb!

Plum and oak on the nose. Dark berry up front with rich dry tannins on the long finish.

Full bodied, complex and tannic. Needs a few more years to properly mature. Should be fantastic in 2017. Drank 2010 vintage

Had the 2010 vintage with a touching movie. Not a very popular wine but the price is reasonable. Black fruits on the noses. Tannic and long finished.
