Don't judge a wine by its vintage. This is the second or third time I've had this wine. I haven't touched it in a few years. I opened it because I didn't think we would drink the whole thing and I didn't mind if I threw it away. All of us loved this wine. It's a classic Bordeaux style in its mid life. Would never even think its from an off vintage. If you love Bordeaux you will love this for the price.

Oct 15th, 2016I had this once before and didn't love it. Opened another a couple of years later and let it decant for an hour and it voila... A gorgeous wine with a lot of depth and character. Tannins have have mellowed revealing a silky wine for an off vintage. Don't judge a book by its cover.
