Vintage Selection Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Still alive, interesting to remember that back in 1961 Cabernet was still rare in Napa, it required dedication, this wine was made in the classic style to age, and it really did.

Minty and still fruity. Amazing.

Another great bottle More licorice on palate than others. Classic, elegant.

From other reviews I detect wide variation in ratings. This suggests wide variations of providence for such an old gem. Personally, my bottle was extraordinary...luck of the draw.

Brick and clay nose, some pine hints, cherry, refined tannins. A beauty.
