Well made but seeming a bit thin in what I've understood to be an exceptional vintage in Washington. I'm glad I didn't pay for this bottle.

At the restaurant, we stock a rosé by Charles Bieler that's really really pretty good every year. So thought would try a C&C wine for giggles. Big blackberry jam on the nose. Less on the palate to the point of seeming thin in the mid palate and finish. Flabby. Wants acid. Not very pleasurable.

For an inexpensive bottle, not a bad choice at all. Not a top choice but good in a pinch. (I walked to the liquor store in the dark on foot)

A great blend of two of Washington State's most prevalent red grapes. Fermented separately and blended before bottling. Bold and meaty dark fruit flavor. Some smoke and herbs on the nose. Good value at only 12 bucks!!
