Whatever Robert...
There are definitely way better Malbecs in the 20s.

Sipping now for the first time... amazing. Super smooth, full-bodied, warm finish. Happy birthday to me.

It's an interesting red. Smooth to start. It has a real bite on the tongue. The finish is very acidic and it doesn't balance well. The wine is fine but not worth $22.

The Wine Advocate - "Bottled in March 2015, the 2014 Estate Selection Malbec seems to have changed its origin to Altamira (but it's not explicit on the label). The wine matured in used 225-liter French oak barrels and cement vats. The nose is ripe and fruit-driven, with aromas of dark cherries and plums plus a subdued minerality and a touch of spices. Most noticeable is the really well-integrated oak (only founder and well-seasoned barrels are used for this wine). The palate is juicy, fresh and has good balance with a somewhat bittersweet finish that is attractive and commercial. This is a great expression of fresh and elegant Malbec from Altamira at a very attractive price point. 130,000 bottles produced."Score - 91. (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, April 14, 2015)

Style: Fruity, Juicy & Smooth, Oaky & Savory
Aroma: balsamic drizzled berries, waxy cherries, cocoa nuts, and cedar plank
Flavor: pencil shavings, vanilla craisins, nutskin, and peppery spice
Sweetness: Dryish
Enjoy: Now-3 years with food
Pairing: Steak With Chimichurri, Bone In Ribeye Steak With A White Pepper Demi-Glaze Sauce, Lasagna
Bottom Line: A supple, silky malbec with ample fruit and nice restraint.
