Classico Amarone della Valpolicella Corvina Blend

Depth for days.. Rich, elegant layers. Plums, dried thyme and touch of wet earth. Dense in body, but flows effortlessly across the palate. Excellent extraction, drinking incredible now. Blows a lot of big name California reds out the water at same price point

Classic style Amarone. Deep, warming, rounded, and drinking fantastic now. Velvet mouthfeel, with deeply concentrated dark fruits, dried herbs, and an off the charts level of extraction.

Surprisingly light in color and profile. Muted. Left in decanter for 3 days and not much change. Maybe off bottle? Disappointing.

Dark ruby red color in the glass. Notes of stewed fruit, dark chocolate covered cherries and spice on the nose. Palate dominated by black pepper, blackberry and spice. Firm, grippy tannins and nice acid make for a lingering finish. Drink now, or hold for a fun treat in a few years. #IAMarone #ad

Deep purple in color, chocolate covered cherries on the nose. Full bodied, dry tannins, high in alcohol.

Fuckin yum

Really enjoyed this, but I didn’t get the same depth as other reviewers. Don’t get me wrong, I could drink this all day. Takes an hour or so to open up, I found.
