Nice wine at a decent price. Good dark berry flavors going, a little earthy. Would be nice to pair with food that's been seasoned with rosemary or thyme.

Great for the price. Plus, there's a butt. #TinaBelcher

Decant of course, it's a Bordeaux varietal just over a year old! I love the Lazybones CFs, but for whatever reason they always release right after bottling. My advice: buy a case and stash it in your cellar, then bust it out when they release the 2015 vintage.

Smells tart. Kinda like dried, sweetened cranberries and vanilla on baked apples. Very dry but still full of rich flavors. Inky too.

Nothing super special but a great example of a cab franc.

First time trying Cabernet Franc. Not the worst but there's nothing exciting about this. Chalky finish, not much depth to it. Has an alcohol-ish smell and taste.

Cab Franc, check... Paso Robles, check. This bottle lives up to the taste and mouthfeel you expect from the region and grape but not much beyond that. Might benefit from another year or two in the bottle but perfectly acceptable for a sub 7 dollar drink.

$6.99 at joes. Peppery, not overly sweet, not very complex. Slighlty tanic finish, not overly dry or fruity. Cab franc
