I love this wine. Every year. Spicy dark fruits, tiny amount of bitter mocha, tobacco-ish hints, lots of texture but not too much earth (not for me anyway). Surprised me at how young it still tastes. If you get one get a second to lie down a few years. Goes with most food and any person who drinks dry reds should fall in love. Old and new world fans alike will. #crowdpleaser #priorat #livesuptohype

Blackberries, tar and plumb. A spicie aftertaste builds over time. Overall fruit body with very very mild tannins. Nice right out of the bottle.

Very tight... not expressive at all... hard to believe it is mostly Grenache.. more full body than medium.. the nose is quite closed... don’t know what to do about this one... it is a serious wine but not sophisticated or rustic... maybe it needs more air but this is my last glass. 😀 not bad but not sure I will get again.

Might be my favorite of the 2013 Black Slates (And no, I haven't had the Mas d'en Compte one yet). Dried figs, chocolate and a perfectly balanced diet between the slate and the oak.

Young but surprisingly good. Need to grab a few more to lay down as in five + years the tannins will mellow and this is going to be dynamite!
