Bright ruby red in the glass. Black cherry tea and a bit of brown spice on the nose and medium-bodied palate. Medium tannins and medium plus acidity make this a classic all-around food wine, but you’ll enjoy it on its own by the glass. And at this price (at which it overperforms), you can have a second!

Transparent ruby red. Black cherry on the nose. Echoed on the medium-bodied palate with black tea and surprisingly form tannins for a bottle at this price point. Finish is kinda shortish, but this is a food PN so in it’s proper place you wouldn’t notice so much. Rich foods are its friend. Meant to drink now, but I think five years wouldn’t hurt it.

Coronavirus bottle. Worked well as a stand-alone and with everything we had in the refrigerator! Very dark red. Light berries and something else I can’t place.

Lovely color. Lighter maroon. Smells Pinot like. Cheerful cherry. Flavor is kinda lighter (watery). Some raspberry. Some strawberry. Jammy. Strange for a French, has more of a CA Pinot style. Very berry.

Awesome red cherry with some spice and maybe tobacco. Short burst of flavor and lovely clean finish.

We weren’t big fans of this PN. It almost tasted like it had gone sour.
