Rioja Tempranillo

Just ok. Had this at a tasting. A bit harsh.

A bit too acidic for my taste.

Cherry and tobacco. Pleasant but not much more.

Drank 10/26/17. Had with Seared pork chops and cranberry sauce. Nice pairing. PNP.

Black cherry, earth, and mild spice on the nose. Flavors of black cherry, red cherry and earth. Finishes with medium tannins, but no detectable oak which I generally find so appealing in these Riojas. A nice and easy everyday drinker, however. A fuller body chianti alternative that should pair well with most foods. One of the few reds where I haven't seen a vintage on the bottle.

Super easy to drink, red berry flavors, subtle and tangy

Nice taste not too heavy and strong. Definitely something i would want to drink on a day i want to relax.

This wine is ok but it's a bit too bitter for me. I needed to use the aerator to soften the taste.
