Apr 2024: Half an hour intensive decanting to open it up, very smooth and elegant, on the light side, cherries! Nice chianti

Dark, fresh, savoury with undergrowth prominent, tomato leaf and some black cherry. Sappy & fresh.
Juicy acidity in the palate, finely polished tannins and fresh, crunchy cherries + a touch of herbs.
A perfect Chianti Classico - a touch rustic perhaps but with loads of charm. So food friendly, yet perfect for after diner solo sipping. Love the 2019s!
