Had an Italian Wine tasting last week and ordered this Barbaresco for dinner. Wow. Piedmont has to be the #1 region in Italy. So good earthy, tomato on the nose, and long beautiful finish. YUM

Faded garnet with slight orange tinge. Nose is all rose petals, raspberries, and forest floor. Nice red fruit balanced by good grippy tannins and a fine spine of acidity. Fresh. Homogeneous and generous, without being heavy. Slightly tart so best with food.
