Sad. Completely oxidized. Whomever owned this before us is a disgrace to wine collectors. I can only imagine they were proud to display this bottle in their fancy 6 bottle crate and barrel wedding gift. Probably sat on top of the refrigerator, too. Schifo

18.5 I may have only 1 or 2 more of 99. 18.5 No hurry, but I want to try 01. This is my best Brunello. Profound robe, no brown, huge concentration. Tannins gone but still several years left. Great fruit, mellow. V long.

Feb 2nd, 2016Deep, concentrated dark plum, hint of acacia, rose petal aromas. soft, gentle, feminine aromas but more fruit aromas on the nose. Full body, M++ acid, M + tannin, very concentrated, hint of bitterness on end, long, elegant, delicate finish with concentrated black berry.

Jul 17th, 201518. 1999 TN. Only 2 left...some brown on rim, otherwise little sign of age, at peak. Tannins perfectly integrated, fruit rich, complex, long. Fine.

Mar 25th, 201518 one of the best Brunellos I've had. Just gets better. Deep ruby, not showing much age, but cloudy. Not much legs. Nose dark fruit and earth. Amazingly rich on palate, v intense. Still some tannin, though deposit shows on bottle. Very long indeed.
