Sep 23rd, 2016The wine was medium dark ruby in colour and offered cherry, blackberry, plum, toast, cacao and sweet spices on the nose. On the palate the wine showed cherry, blackberry, plum, cacao, coffee, toast and roasted notes, paired with medium-plus acidity, medium-level, ripe, round tannin, a creamy mouthfeel and very good length. The medium- to full-bodied wine was round and well-balanced, with good concentration. My favourite wine of the flight. Drink know and over the next three to four years. 89
